The biting / mouthing stage of puppy life..

Shark blankets make sense.

Ouch. You know. It hurts. Puppy teeth are sharper then sharp.

There are lots of great suggestions out there for training during this painful shark attack time.

We are trying out what Moon and Cricket use. The squeal cry and dramatic limping and cradle of the offended limb.. they showed us the dance and it's working!

The Game plan is :

Cricket - bites too hard.

The victim - squeal cry as real as

possible and pull away.

Cricket - learns social cue of no playtime if he's too rough. Stops, Waits and tries again softer.

Victim - praise 💙

( do not sit on Cricket after , that's rather confusing )

** Important to remember. Biting and wild behavior really ramps up when puppies are overtired. Put your shark for a nap!!
