Spring planting!

Spring is so good. I always feel like it heals all the winter blahs.

Sometimes we just face plant the hillside in the sun, starfish it. Then the kids roll around to make sure the crusty old grass bits get to come inside later , thank you my babies.

Gardening begins!! I have a ritual of walking the property looking for signs of life, mentally ticking off who made it through winter and who didn't. It's a favorite gratitude adventure. Every bit of life makes me feel so lucky!

What do you plant in early spring? We are zone 5, sunny hillside. The kids and I pop in peas, carrots, beets, lettuce, spinach, oh my gosh what else?? I forget , it was last week.
