Mr. Cricket

It seemed like Cricket , our weim pup, came out of nowhere. I put myself on a waiting list for breeders of Lilac weims in Alberta and received a surprise call..

I could have a male pup ( original buyer had fallen through last minute and the rest of the waiting list was only prepared for the next winter litter)

..it was an arrive-this-week kind of puppy package.. oh my heart and nerves, equally.

I said yes. Then panicked. Haha. Big time.

Moon still had her pups and 6 would still be here when he came home to us.. was it an OK risk??

Was it thoughtless to Moon? To Cricket?

Thankfully Moon loves him, and he her. Loved to pieces. Her puppy that got to stay. 💙

Honorary siblings for a night. They were all so good to him. And he was so very tiny!

We are a family of 8 now, and everything feels just right.
