I've always loved the Nova Scotia lupine. Driving along seeing all the different colors, so pretty, and feels like home.
I've spread out lupine seeds in our ditch too many embarrassing times to count. Nothing. Maybe because I've moved out west so many times this is my lupine karma.
This year I'm forcing my way back into NS soil. I hammered my way in. Literally.

Because they need to be on the inside and side of the ditch I couldn't just dig a hole for my seedlings. The hammer pulled the earth back enough to put the plugs in upright on a slope.

In you go you. Make me a proud East Coaster. 💛
