Clover or grass?

Spring brings so much new joy. Sun and warmer breezes, more outdoor time and unfortunately the yucky just-plain-gross farm paths. So what do you pick to turn that brown to glorious green??

On our little farm we've picked short clover. I just love it. The bees love it. The goats snack on it. And it's so pretty!! Pretty and functional and easy. My favs. No need to even water it!
It needs cool to get started so it's one of the early spring rituals. To walk the paths, toss the seeds, and feel incredibly grateful to have this farm dream come true.
I played with clover and grass mixes last year in my father's gardens. It did wonders building up organics and changing the texture of his impermeable red clays. Love the softness of clover beds and so good for nitrogen in the soils.
